vienna was blessed in rexburg when she was only 2 weeks old, i just didn't take any pictures except this one:
it was a very special occasion and we were blessed to be surrounded by great friends and family who traveled to be there. vienna was an angel. it was the other kids screaming that made it hard for me to hear part of her blessing. that is SO frustrating...take your kids out!! anyways, i have been meaning to get her back in this beautiful dress and capture her sweetness. alma's mom made v's dress too, and as you can see, it is nothing shy of amazing!! she looks like a perfect little doll. thanks mom!
another HUGE deal that went on during that time is my sister alicia came home from her mission about a week and a half prior and it was our first time reuniting!!! it was SO GREAT to see her...and the rest of the fam of course. now that she's back, it's like she never left...which i know makes you sad lees, but not us!!
these pictures are also special because i took them on the quilt I MADE for vienna. that's right, i made it! alma's mom helped me, but i did all the labor and i'm pretty stinkin proud. i designed it from a quilt i loved from pottery barn, made the patterns, sewed it all together, then sent it to aunt minah to quilt. thanks minah!! all it needs is the binding around the edges then i just might give it its own post so you can see the whole thing. enjoy the beauty:

these first few are of her in her slip. 'getting ready' if you will. even the slip was gorgeous!
