i'm a little behind here...but labor day weekend was AWESOME here in the colorful state of colorado! speaking of colors, they launch hot air balloons at a park downtown all weekend. they launch at dawn so we got up before the kids, drove downtown, watched all the balloons get filled, only to find out they weren't launching due to fog...nuts! but it was still really cool to see. jagger was in love.
saturday (day II): hot air balloon launch attempt
but persistence pays off. we went again before the butt crack of dawn on monday because we wanted to see some launching action! the weather was perfect and off they went!! i must admit, i was expecting everyone to fill up their balloons, then do a big '3-2-1' countdown and all shoot up into the air. it wasn't that dramatic. once their balloon was ready they were like, 'see ya!' and took off. but turns out they launched about 3-7 at a time for about an hour!! there were SO MANY. they flew right over a lake, and many of them dipped down in and/or glided across it before taking off again. what a sight!! so here's to the working man! we did nothing of the sort and enjoyed a nice long nap :)monday (day IV): hot air balloon launch

Its about dang time, we can finally see you in less than 39 minutes with our ultra high speed internet, it might be the highest speed ever! We miss you guys, cool pictures, Jaggar and Vienna are cute.

That looks like lots of fun! I've been to something similar, but they didn't skim over a lake. That is so cool!
